7 years agoThe New England Patriots signed running back Brandon Bolden to a one-year, $880,000 extension through the 2018 season on Saturday, according to a source. The deal includes $170,000 in guarantees. Even with the possibility that the Patriots don't bring impending free-agent running back Dion Lewis back, Bolden is unlikely to have a big enough role in the backfield to make him fantasy relevant. New England still has Rex Burkhead and James White ahead of Bolden on the depth chart. In 16 games in 2017, Bolden had only 13 carries for 67 yards and no touchdowns, and he added just one catch for seven yards.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
