2 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (knee) will throw and do some light activity Thursday. Last Saturday, he was placed on the 10-day injured list due to right knee inflammation. The 35-year-old got a cortisone shot in his left knee on Sunday and planned to do some light baseball activity since landing on the injured list. He is slashing .215/.297/.332 with five home runs, 33 RBI, 29 runs and a stolen base over 72 games in 2022. Barring any setbacks, Crawford could return when first eligible on July 26.
