3 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (hamstring) exited Friday's game in the top of the eighth inning after he appeared to injure himself while running to first on a single, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Slusser reports that Crawford was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he appeared to exhibit discomfort while running down the line to first base and grabbed at his hamstring. Chadwick Tromp entered the game as a pinch-runner for Crawford. Hopefully, this isn't anything too serious, but fantasy managers should keep an eye out for updates on Crawford's condition after the game.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
