Brandon Crawford Hits Clutch Home Run Tuesday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford did his best to try and play the hero in Tuesday's 7-5 extra-innings loss to the Rockies, going 3-for-4 with two singles and a solo home run. Down by one in the bottom of the ninth, Crawford launched a Daniel Bard fastball into McCovey Cove to send the game into extra innings. Unfortunately, the Giants' bullpen could not hold on to help secure a win. The veteran does have four HR, 10 RBI, and two stolen bases to this point, but also has a disappointing .217 batting average and .260 on-base percentage. As such, his current fantasy value is limited.
