2 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (knee) and outfielder Luis Gonzalez (back) both remain out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the Atlanta Braves. Crawford hasn't played since leaving Tuesday's game early with a bruised left knee, but an MRI exam showed that he doesn't have any structural damage, so he should be regarded as day-to-day. Gonzalez will also miss his second straight game due to lower-back tightness. Thairo Estrada is playing shortstop and is batting sixth on Thursday, while Austin Slater will get the start in center field and hit eighth against Braves right-hander Kyle Wright.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
