Brandon Crawford To Begin Rehab Assignment
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (knee) is set to begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday. The 35-year-old has been sidelined since July 16 due to inflammation in his right knee. The expectation is that Crawford will play at least two or three games before returning to the Giants roster. That being said, newly acquired Dixon Machado is expected to play until Crawford is ready. The hope is that Crawford won't suffer any setbacks and can return by the first half of next week.
