3 years agoSan Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (wrist) experienced some wrist soreness during Saturday's win over the Chicago Cubs, and he is sitting for the series finale on Sunday. Crawford is available off the bench, but he is not expected to be used. Thairo Estrada will likely step in. Crawford, along with basically the entire Giants team, has been dominant over his past seven games, slashing .462/.548/.692 in 26 at-bats, much to the delight of fantasy managers. Assuming the wrist injury is just a minor concern, Crawford should be back in the lineup Monday night at home against San Diego.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
