Brandon Drury To Serve As Designated Hitter
2 years agoSan Diego Padres infielder Brandon Drury is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Colorado Rockies. The veteran slugger was acquired by the Padres at the trade deadline on Tuesday. Although, the acquisition of Drury was overshadowed by the addition of Juan Soto and Josh Bell. Fantasy managers shouldn't overlook the impact that Drury can make in the lineup. He's hitting .274 with 20 home runs and 59 RBI through 92 games. Drury will serve as the designated hitter and bat sixth versus right-hander Chad Kuhl on Wednesday. Fantasy managers will likely see Drury's value drop in San Diego, but he'll be starting for this game.
