Brandon Finnegan Struggles Again On Friday
7 years agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Brandon Finnegan had a rough outing against the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night. Finnegan lasted just three innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out two. He didn't help his cause by issuing four walks in the ballgame. Finnegan started the season on the disabled list with a biceps strain but has not performed well in his two starts since being reinstated. He has allowed nine earned runs and walked eight batters in 7 1/3 innings. Both of his starts have come against the Cardinals. Finnegan showed flashes of being a reliable fantasy pitcher back in 2016 but he is a long way from showing the form he did back then. Keep him on waivers until he starts to show better command.
