2 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe (back) has been activated from the 60-day injured list and is back in the starting lineup on Saturday against Baltimore Orioles right-hander Dean Kremer. Lowe is starting at the keystone and batting second in his return. The 28-year-old has been out since mid-May due to a stress reaction in his lower back, but he should be a regular in Tampa's lineup for the second half of the season at second base. Before his injury, he was hitting just .212/.293/.415 with five home runs, 12 RBI, 20 runs scored and a stolen base in 118 at-bats, but he could produce better results at the plate the rest of the way if he's past his back issues. Lowe is worth picking up if he's available on your league's waiver wire.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
