3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 20-8 loss to the Boston Red Sox. He took Nathan Eovaldi deep in the sixth inning to put the Rays on the scoreboard for the first time all game. The 27-year-old is starting to heat up; he's on a five-game hitting streak and has now homered three times during that span. Lowe is slashing .227.336/.487 with 26 home runs, 64 RBI, 65 runs scored, and five stolen bases across 437 plate appearances in 2021. Despite the low batting average.
