Brandon Lowe Blasts Three Homers, Drives In Seven Runs
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe went 3-for-5 with three home runs and seven RBI during Saturday's 12-2 win over the New York Yankees. He slugged three home runs and drove in seven runs to lead the Rays to victory. The 27-year-old crushed two three-run shots off Yankees starter Jordan Montgomery in the first and third inning innings. He later blasted a solo shot off Michael King in the seventh frame for his third homer. The Rays infielder is locked in at the plate and has now homered in three straight games. Overall, Lowe is slashing .247/.340/.525 with 39 home runs, 99 RBI, 97 runs scored, and seven stolen bases over 611 plate appearances in 2021. Lowe is one homer shy of a 40-homer, 100-RBI campaign, and he will look to reach for both milestones in the regular-season finale on Sunday.
