5 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe drove went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the first game of the doubleheader on Saturday. He ended up sitting in the second game with David Robertson taking over second base duties. Lowe's line hasn't improved much since the start of the year, he's now hitting .281 with 11 home runs and three stolen bases on the season. He hasn't hit a homer in the past two weeks and only has three in the last month. Due to the lack of depth at second base, his counting stats and solid average are enough to warrant a roster spot and start when needed.--Zach Alexander
