4 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman/outfielder Brandon Lowe is in the starting lineup, batting third and playing second base in Game 2 of the wild-card series versus Toronto. Lowe will face left-handed pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu on Wednesday. Lowe sat frequently against lefties during the regular season, despite owing solid reverse splits in 2020 including a 1.137 OPS and six home runs in 60 plate appearances against left-handed pitching. Given his splits, he does have appeal in DFS contests today as a contrarian option at second base coming off of a 1-for-4 performance on Tuesday against Toronto.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
