3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman/outfielder Brandon Lowe is having a great spring to this point, batting .333 with a home run, six RBI, five walks, and four strikeouts in 21 at-bats. Spring stats should always be taken with a grain of salt, but Lowe's performance has to be encouraging for fantasy managers. The 27-year-old slashed .247/.340/.523 with 39 HR, 99 RBI, and seven stolen bases last season. Lowe is currently the 75th overall player off the board, which makes sense given his power potential. He would provide even more fantasy value if he could bring his batting average up more in line with his small spring sample.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
