3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 3-1 loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday. He has been absolutely mashing at the plate leading up to the All-Star break, slashing .250/.390/.813 with eight home runs, 16 RBI and 11 runs scored over his last 15 games. With 21 homers this year, Lowe is now second among all second basemen in home runs, trailing only Marcus Semien who has 22 home runs for Toronto. Managers who have Lowe rostered should be very happy with his level of production this season.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
