3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss to the Athletics on Thursday. Lowe has been on a tear to start the season as he's already got three homers and is slugging a healthy .630 through seven games in 2022. Lowe has been hitting the ball hard so far with an average exit velocity over 90 MPH while posting a strikeout rate under 20 percent. Both of those numbers will likely regress to his career averages, but for now, Lowe is locked in at the plate and should be started in all fantasy leagues.
