Brandon Lowe Homers in Win
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe jacked a two-run homer and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in the Rays win over the Rockies Monday. The home run was his first hit of the season. He also struck out twice, which brings him to seven strikeouts in 13 at-bats so far. With Joey Wendle (hamstring) placed on the injured list, the opportunity is there for Lowe to carry his hot spring training over to the regular season. This spring he slashed .377/.411/.698 with three home runs. He’ll have to show a bit more consistency to be worthy of an add in all leagues, but he’s a good player to add to your watch list for now.
