3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe isn't starting against the Boston Red Sox and left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez. Lowe has been plenty productive for both the Rays and fantasy managers this season, hitting .235 with a .336 on-base percentage, 33 home runs, and six stolen bases in 533 plate appearances. Tampa Bay will instead start Joey Wendle at second base against Rodriguez. The 31-year-old, who is batting seventh on Tuesday, is hitting .276 with a .326 on-base percentage, nine home runs, and six stolen bases in 420 plate appearances this year.
