5 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays are resting outfielder Kevin Kiermaier and second baseman Brandon Lowe on Sunday versus Athletics left-hander Brett Anderson. Kiermaier is actually hitting better off southpaws this season (.328) but will take the well-earned rest day regardless. Guillermo Heredia will start in center field while Mike Brosseau will make his major league debut at third base in the series finale. Expect Kiermaier and Lowe to return to the lineup Tuesday when the Rays travel to take on right-hander Kyle Gibson and the Minnesota Twins.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
