3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe isn't starting Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers and right-handed starter Alex Faedo. Lowe is batting .212 with a .293 on-base percentage, five home runs, and a stolen base in 1333 plate appearances this season. Vidal Brujan is batting fifth and starting at second base instead on Monday. So far this season, Brujan is batting .118 with a .167 on-base percentage and a stolen base in 18 plate appearances.
