3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman/outfielder Brandon Lowe is starting Friday's game against the New York Yankees on the bench, according to MLB.com. Lowe has shown his offensive prowess once again this season, slashing .243/.338/.508 with 36 HRs, 92 RBI, 94 runs, and seven stolen bases. Joey Wendle will shift to second, and Yandy Diaz will fill in at third and bat fourth. Diaz has a knack for getting on base with a .353 OBP while hitting .258 with 13 HRs and a .391 slugging over 132 games. He has fared much better against lefties this season, hitting .296 with a .830 OPS. With left-hander Nestor Cortes on the mound, Diaz is a good streaming option in most leagues.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
