4 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, a stolen base, two RBI and a run scored in a 4-2 win over the Orioles on Friday. His two-run homer in the fourth inning would break the tie and put the Rays ahead for good in the victory. He's been heating up at the plate recently, slashing .259/.333/.481 with two home runs, one steal, five RBI and seven runs scored over his last seven games. He's struggled with a .197 average this season, but has managed to slug 11 homers while posting a career-best 11.8 percent walk rate. He's a solid option in deeper leagues or in OBP formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
