2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh (leg) suffered a leg injury in Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds while trying to rob a home run in right center field. Marsh came down awkwardly on his left leg and looked to be in a lot of pain as trainers ran to his aid in the outfield. He eventually walked off the field under his own power, but we won't know the severity of his injury until the team releases more details. The 24-year-old had a hit in his only at-bat before departing, and he came into the game hitting .226/.283/.347 with eight home runs, 39 RBI, 36 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 323 at-bats with the Phils and Los Angeles Angels. Matt Vierling moved to center field to replace Marsh, while Nick Maton entered the game in left field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
