7 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy (knee) threw off a mound on Tuesday and is trying to make adjustments that would allow him to pitch in a relief role in September. That pretty much closes the book on his fantasy value in 2018. The veteran right-hander is 6-3 with a 4.92 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 7.4 K/9 in 15 starts, so he was really just a deep league streamer before his injury.
