4 years agoDenver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus was placed on the COVID-19 list on Monday as the team monitors his status as a high-risk close contact of someone outside the organization that tested positive for the virus. McManus and the Broncos are facing a quicker turnaround than usual entering Week 15, as they are slated to play Buffalo on Saturday. McManus has kicked in every game for Denver dating back to the 2015 season, so his absence would force the team to get creative at kicker should he not be cleared to return to action in time. His fantasy prospects took a significant hit after missing two extra points Sunday, and this latest news should be another reminder that he's just not a smart fantasy play in this inconsistent Denver offense.--Jesse Borek
