4 years agoIt was a night to remember for UFC flyweight Brandon Moreno on Saturday. He became the first Mexican-born champion in UFC history after he dethroned Deiveson Figueiredo with a third-round submission. The first round saw Moreno drop Figueiredo and nearly earn the finish with his high-paced, high-pressure start. In the third round, Moreno secured a takedown and locked in a submission for the win.
