6 years agoChicago Cubs closer Brandon Morrow (biceps) had a successful bullpen session on Wednesday and hopes to pitch in simulated games by the end of next week. At this point, the Cubs are probably just hoping that Morrow might be an option for a potential postseason run. He hasn't pitched in the majors since before the All-Star break and is highly unlikely to see any save chances before the regular season is over.
