7 years agoChicago Cubs closer Brandon Morrow (biceps) threw a light bullpen session on Sunday as he attempts to return before the end of the season. Morrow is now a long shot to make it back before the playoffs, and he hasn't pitched since before the All-Star break with the Cubs. In his absence, Pedro Strop has pretty much locked down the closer role, but Jesse Chavez has gotten a few chances as well. At this point, it's probably safe to drop Morrow if you don't have the room.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
