6 years agoGood news on New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo: he “avoided significant injury” according to Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record. Nimmo was scheduled for an MRI on his injured pinkie finger on Monday after initial X-Rays came back negative, but as of now we’re not sure if he received it yet. We’re also not sure if, despite avoiding “significant injury”, Nimmo’s injury is one that will keep him out for a few days, or if a trip to the disabled list is necessary. The Mets certainly can’t afford to miss Nimmo at all, nevertheless for more than a few games. We’re hopeful in getting more news on this Monday, so stay tuned.--John Smith
