Brandon Nimmo Cleared For Baseball Activity
5 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo was cleared for baseball activity on Thursday after multiple rounds of cardiac screening. It appears that Nimmo should be ready to go for Opening Day. Nimmo will face competition for playing time in a crowded Mets outfield. As a result, he could end up in a platoon role given the Mets roster construct, especially if Yoenis Cespedes (ankle, heels) remains healthy. Despite the potential of a platoon role, Nimmo remains worth a draft selection in deep mixed leagues and in all NL-only formats at his current ADP of 372.
