Brandon Nimmo Drives In Three On Sunday
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored in the Mets 10-5 win over the Yankees in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday. Despite going 0-for-3 in the nightcap, Nimmo is 5-for-14 (.357) since his return from a long stint on the injured list due to a left index finger injury. Provided he can remain healthy, Nimmo should continue to perform as a top-tier place setter with a solid batting average and an elite on-base percentage at the top of the Mets lineup. Fantasy managers, particularly those in OBP leagues, should have Nimmo active in their lineups. He owns a .325/.419/.425 slash line over 24 games.
