4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo has reached base in 25 consecutive games, the current longest running streak in the big leagues. Nimmo drew a pair of walks Sunday against Atlanta, bringing his on-base percentage to .432 through his first 10 games. While he has oscillated between the leadoff and No. 9 spot in the batting order depending on the opposing team’s starting pitcher, Nimmo has proven to be a valuable on-base commodity no matter his spot in the order. There are still splits concerns to be had for Nimmo (1.069 OPS vs. RHP, .508 vs. LHP) in the early part of 2020, but his ownership should continue to trend upwards.--Jesse Borek
