3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo homered Saturday, going 1-for-2 with three walks in a crushing loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Nimmo bears no fault in the collapse, as he once again proved himself to be one of the top on-base options in the majors, with upside beyond that. The home run was Nimmo's second of the year, and he is now slashing .312/.423/.450 across 129 plate appearances this season. Nimmo's been a value in on-base percentage fantasy formats for years, but he now deserves to be on rosters regardless of the scoring settings.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
