4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (finger), currently on the 10-day injured list with a left index finger contusion, may return to the team for their upcoming weekend series against Tampa Bay. While Nimmo has been sidelined, Kevin Pillar has seen an increase in playing time. Nimmo's return would be a welcomed sight for the Mets where he has posted a .318/.430/.439 slash line with one home run and eight RBI over 21 games as the Mets' leadoff hitter. Once he returns, Nimmo should be activated in all fantasy formats, particularly in on-base percentage leagues.
