Brandon Nimmo With Five Hits On Monday
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo picked up five hits, including a double, in the Mets doubleheader sweep of the Miami Marlins on Monday. Specifically, Nimmo went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and one run scored in the Mets 6-5 Game 1 win. In Game 2, Nimmo went 2-for-3 with a run scored in the Mets 3-1 win. Nimmo is now batting .298/.417/.416 on the season with five home runs, 22 RBI, and 39 runs scored in 255 at-bats over 74 games. Nimmo remains an elite option for batting average and on-base percentage in all fantasy formats for the stretch run in September. Nimmo should also contribute to run totals for fantasy managers hitting atop the Mets lineup with his elite on-base skillset, should the Mets plate runs more consistently over the final four weeks of the season.
