Brandon Nimmo’s Breakout Continues Against Snakes
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo hasn’t been quite as hot as he was just a few weeks ago, but he’s still producing nonetheless. In a 6-3 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday, Nimmo finished 1-for-4 with a home run. The long ball was his ninth of the season. On the year, he now owns a fantastic .265/.403/.555 (.958 OPS) slash line with the aforementioned nine home runs, five triples, eight doubles, 30 runs scored, 16 RBI and six stolen bases. Clearly, Nimmo is one of the few players who can truly contribute across the board. He should be owned in nearly all leagues.
