Brandon Pirri Scores Twice In Season Debut
7 years agoVegas Golden Knights forward Brandon Pirri made a big impression in his season debut, as he scored two goals in the team's 5-4 shootout win on Tuesday in Vancouver. The Knights opted to rest multiple players, which gave Pirri a role on the top line alongside William Karlsson, who had a goal and two assists on the night. Pirri also led the team with seven shots on goal in the game, logging 18:31 with 2:15 coming on the man advantage. The 26-year-old forward made a big breakthrough in 2014-15, scoring 22 goals in 49 games for the Panthers, but he's since then bounced around a few organizations. The guy clearly has some game, though, as he's been one of the best goal scorers in the AHL this season, netting 29 times. He's got 51 points in 54 games for the Chicago Wolves overall.
