3 years agoFormer Washington Commanders Pro Bowl offensive guard Brandon Scherff intends to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to a source. Scherff was a first-round pick (fifth overall) by Washington in 2015 out of Iowa, and he's been a key cog on their offensive line ever since. Scherff is a five-time Pro Bowler, including in each of the last three seasons, so he'll be an immediate upgrade for the Jaguars offensive line as they look to protect second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence better. Scherff played in only 11 games in 2021, but when healthy, he remains one of the better blocking guards in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
