4 years agoCornerback Brandon Williams is set to join the New York Giants once his physical and protocol testing is passed. Williams last appeared in a regular-season contest with the Cardinals in 2018, who drafted him in the third round in ‘16. Having appeared in 45 games during his tenure with Arizona, he amassed 38 tackles and five passes defended. Williams also moonlighted as a kick returner, averaging 19.2 yards per return in ‘18. He figures to join a New York secondary that while set at the safety spot, has room for competition at the corners.--Jesse Borek
