Brandon Woodruff Experiencing Arm Soreness
5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff, who just returned from an oblique injury on September 17, told reporters Thursday that he experienced some arm soreness after his two-inning appearance. Even though his oblique seemed okay, this is obviously not something the Brewers or fantasy managers want to hear. Woodruff would be a worthwhile fantasy option against Pittsburgh if he did pitch, but his final appearance would likely occur in Colorado, and he only threw two innings on Tuesday so he is not stretched out for winning chances. It's not too soon to seek safer options for these last ten days as the downside now outweighs the upside.
