3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out nine over seven innings of work on Sunday, but was saddled with the loss in a 3-1 defeat against the White Sox. Woodruff has been one of the top pitchers in the league this season, going 7-5 with a 2.14 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 30.4 percent strikeout rate over a career-high 126 innings of work. Managers have to be starting Woodruff every time he takes the mound, and his next start will come this upcoming weekend against the Braves.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
