4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Brandon Workman earned his first save with his new team on Sunday, but seems to fit in with the Phillies as he made things an adventure in the ninth. Workman allowed a run on two hits and a walk, and was bailed out as the tying run was thrown out at the plate on a perfect play by catcher J.T. Realmuto. The good news for fantasy managers is Workman did, barely, get the job done and is 5-for-5 on save opportunities going back to his days in Boston. He's the top-option in the Phillies bullpen and needs to be owned in fantasy leagues where saves count.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
