Braves Acquire Ehire Adrianza From Nationals
2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves acquired infielder Ehire Adrianza from the Washington Nationals on Monday in exchange for outfielder Trey Harris. In a corresponding move, the Braves designated infielder Robinson Cano for assignment. Adrianza spent the 2021 season in Atlanta, hitting .247/.327/.401 with five home runs, 28 RBI and 32 runs scored in 109 regular season games. The 32-year-old utility player will give the team some additional depth in both the infield and outfield, but he's unlikely to have much fantasy appeal, even in deeper leagues. In just 31 games for the Nationals this year, Adrianza has slashed .179/.255/.202 with no homers, seven RBI, five runs scored and one stolen base.
