2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves acquired right-hander Jacob Webb from the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday in exchange for cash considerations. Webb will be available on Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics. In a corresponding move, the Braves placed right-hander Collin McHugh on the COVID-19 injured list. Webb spent the last three years with the Braves before he was waived and claimed by Arizona in April. In his three major league seasons with Atlanta, the 28-year-old has a 2.47 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with 71 strikeouts and 31 walks in 76 2/3 innings over 78 relief outings. He allowed six earned runs while walking three and striking out seven in 5 1/3 innings for Triple-A Reno in the D-backs organization this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
