2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves have agreed to a deal to acquire second baseman Robinson Cano from the San Diego Padres for cash considerations. They will receive the 39-year-old slugger on a veteran minimum deal. The New York Mets are on the hook for $24 million after releasing Cano earlier in the season. Cano has struggled with the bat this season and isn't worth a look in fantasy leagues. He'll likely get a decent amount of playing time in Atlanta, but it's unlikely he has much to offer at this point in his career.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
