4 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Cristian Pache was optioned to the team’s alternate site on Tuesday. Pache only got into two major league games after his call-up last week, collecting one hit over four at-bats. Pache is likely still a year or two away from being a productive fantasy outfielder given his career .734 OPS in the minor leagues, but it’s encouraging that the Braves are willing to give the 21-year-old a look at the major league level, and Pache should remain on the radar of fantasy players going forward even if he doesn’t play again this season thanks to his impressive speed and raw power.--Sam Chinitz
