6 years agoThe Atlanta Braves have recalled outfielder Michael Reed and Evan Phillips while demoting Matt Wisler and placing Peter Moylan on the 10-day DL with a forearm strain. Both Reed and Phillips have been fantastic in the minors this season, with Reed hitting .337 with nine home runs and seven steals over 74 minor league games and Phillips pitching to a 2.09 ERA and a 58/14 K/BB ratio over 38 2/3 innings. Neither will have much value right out the gate, but they should be names to keep an eye out for.--Dan Fappiano
