Braxton Berrios Unlikely To Replicate Week 1 Performance
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Braxton Berrios surprised many with his performance in Week 1. He hauled in five of his seven targets for 51 yards in the loss to the Carolina Panthers. That being said, he was a fairly popular option on the waiver wire after that game. Although, fantasy managers should be careful with Berrios going forward. He has never been a reliable fantasy option during his career. Also, Jamison Crowder (COVID) is returning after missing last week. Berrios is likely going to fall into the No. 4 receiver spot at best. The New England Patriots secondary is strong and it's unlikely Berrios gets seven targets again in Week 2. He'll be a desperation flex option in deep formats, but should be avoided if possible.
