3 years agoThe New York Jets will deploy a running back by committee as long as Mike LaFleur is their offensive coordinator. Running back Breece Hall is the team's new starter after the Jets selected him in the second round of the NFL draft last Friday. Michael Carter will spell Hall to form a solid one-two punch for New York's backfield in 2022. Carter impressed as the Jets best RB last year, but Hall, 20, ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the combine in February, and the former Iowa State star has a workhorse frame with big-play potential at the position. Hall had an impressive resume in college, justifying him as the first RB off the board in the draft. While his upside will be limited with Carter in the picture, Hall could be a solid RB2 for fantasy managers in his rookie season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
